Terms of Use

MusicPoster is private desktop software for preparing and publishing media to operator-managed channels. It is not a public software-as-a-service product, social network, storage service, or consumer account platform.

These Terms apply to the MusicPoster operator's use of the software and the informational website at musicposter.scenecoremusiclab.com.

MusicPoster may be used only with channels the operator owns or is authorized to manage, and only for content the operator owns or has permission to publish. It must not be used to impersonate others, infringe copyright or privacy, evade platform controls, or publish unlawful or deceptive material.

The operator is responsible for:

• reviewing the selected file, target channel, metadata, audience and altered/synthetic-content declarations, upload settings, and visibility;
• confirming that required rights and permissions have been obtained;
• protecting the local device and OAuth credentials from unauthorized access;
• monitoring upload results and correcting errors; and
• complying with applicable law and platform policies.

MusicPoster uses YouTube API Services. By using its YouTube functions, the operator also agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube Community Guidelines, and applicable Google policies.

Before each upload, the operator must review and approve the exact video, destination channel, title, description, tags, category, language, audience and altered/synthetic-content declarations, license, embedding/statistics and subscriber-notification choices, optional recording date, visibility, and schedule. The operator is responsible for selecting the audience and synthetic content declarations truthfully. Approval also confirms that the content follows those platform rules and respects copyright and privacy rights. Any change to the approved upload requires a new approval.

YouTube may impose quotas, review requirements, upload restrictions, privacy defaults, or other platform decisions. MusicPoster cannot override those rules and does not guarantee that an upload will be accepted, processed, or made public.

The software depends on local files, network access, and third-party APIs that may change or become unavailable. MusicPoster may be changed, suspended, or discontinued without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every platform change.

Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok publishing is subject to each platform's terms, developer policies, content rules, account eligibility, permissions, rate limits, and review decisions. MusicPoster cannot grant access, bypass a platform restriction, or guarantee that a submitted Reel or video will be accepted or remain available.

MusicPoster is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. No warranty is made that every upload, schedule, notification, or third-party service will operate without interruption or error.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of MusicPoster is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the software or from third-party platform decisions.

A connected platform account may be disconnected from MusicPoster at any time, and access may be revoked from that platform's account or business-integration settings. Use must stop if authorization, ownership, or permission to manage the relevant destination ends. See the Data Deletion page for local cleanup instructions.

These Terms may be updated when the software, third-party services, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
